Learning Golf & Lessons For Life
I offer golf lessons for youth and high school players with the goal of keeping them playing golf for life.
Golf is a fantastic game for youth and high school kids. It not only develops athleticism and an appreciation for being outdoors, but it also helps kids practice a calming mindset that they can apply to all areas of life.
In addition to practicing skills, we’ll develop a mindful approach to the game. Problem solving, remaining calm under pressure and being a respectful competitor are just a few of the areas in which younger players can mature through the game. And, as always, we’ll have some fun.
Finding the Balance
Golf is a wonderful form of competition. However, if players focus too much on the win, they lose the prize. My philosophy for high school and youth golf lessons includes finding the balance between fun and focus. This is a game that they will take with them for life.
If playing and practicing golf leaves young golfers feeling frustrated, insecure or with lowered self-esteem, they’ll lose more than the match. They’ll miss out on the lifelong opportunities playing golf provides.
In practice and clinics, we’ll incorporate fun, positive mindsets and building a love for the game.
A Game They Take with Them Everywhere
I have coached for the First Tee of Denver Junior Golf Program for many years. I’ve also coached Master Classes for advanced junior players through Colorado’s Gold Crown Foundation. Both programs approach golf as not just a game, but a way to help kids excel at school, learn social skills and build character.
I’m committed to teaching kids a game they’ll take with them no matter where they go in life.

How Much do Youth Golf Lessons Cost?
I offer reduced rates for junior lessons to help families and encourage purchasing packages of lessons. Working together in a series of classes will help them build on the skills they’ve been learning. I will teach your child drills they can do at home so we can maximize our time together on the course or driving range.
